Out of all our knitwear options, cardigans arguably have the greatest nostalgic associations, and while they might remind us of our school days, 2023's high-street iterations are anything but childish. The ideal throw-on layer for the changeable British weather, I've been wearing mine when sat at my desk and in need of warming or an extra layer, or when the temperature drops in the evening.
