If you've ever wanted to know what's really inside the makeup bags of the most stylish women in the industry, you're in luck. We've created a new column, Show Me the (Makeup) Money, to uncover the beauty products our fashion friends genuinely keep in their daily rotation—and how much their stash actually costs. I'll be delving inside their bags on your behalf and totting up every item in there, from the most expensive to the cheapest. Not only will you be left with an incredible shopping list, but also a realistic price tag to boot. Is there someone whose makeup bag you're dying to see inside? Slide into my Instagram DMs with your requests, and I'll see what I can do. This month, we're delving inside the everyday makeup bag of fashion and beauty stylist and co-founder of This Is Mothership, Gemma Rose Breger.
"I was never really into makeup," Gemma admitted. "For my entire adult life, I've been a flick-and–red lip kinda girl, but three years ago, I launched This Is Mothership with ex–beauty director Sam Silver, and she educated me on makeup to a level I didn't even know existed! So now I'm still a flick-and–red lip kinda girl, but with some added essentials. I thought I was a minimalist, but listing each item makes me think otherwise!
"All these products live in my makeup bag, and although I test out lots of products as part of my job, I very rarely stray from these. Most days, I just use mascara, put on some brows and add a lip, but I keep this all in here in case I ever need a full face—which is usually based on how much sleep I had the night before (never really that much) and how important a workday I have."

"This instantly makes me feel fresh."
"I rotate daily between these three lipsticks depending on my mood, my tan and my outfit. The Estée Lauder one is the perfect level of orangey-red."
"This River Island one is new. It goes on creamy but dries matte."
"This one from Smashbox is a bright red that stays on forever."
"I don't like anything heavy on my skin, so this is perfect for a subtle glow."
"I have really dry skin. This is a night balm, and I'm obsessed with the smell and texture. If I don't have anything on my skin, I just add a touch of this throughout the day."
"Pricey but so worth it. A tiny dab lasts hours, and I go through one pot a year, so cost per use and all that."
"For days when I need a little more coverage than a tinted moisturiser. This covers but doesn't feel heavy."
"Makeup artist extraordinaire Hannah Martin introduced me to this. I love the dewy look and the pop of colour on my cheeks."
"This is here in case of emergency. I usually only put a dab on my T-zone if I'm putting on a full face of makeup."
"This comes everywhere with me. You never know when you'll need a leopard scrunchie!"
