There was once a time (not that long ago, in fact) when finding a pair of jeans that weren't plain old skinny jeans was a challenge in itself. These days, there are so many denim trends on the market that finding a pair that isn't outside-the-box is more of a challenge. The marketplace is so crowded with new denim cuts and special details but one particularly niche trend has been one of the most talked-about: front-to-back zipper jeans.
We first reported on this phenomenon this past spring when Vetements x Levi's introduced the trend in the form of jeans and denim shorts. As you'd expect, the internet was instantly abuzz. And now, Reformation introduced, as part of its MTV in the '90s collection, its very own take on the front-to-back zipper trend. The non-stretch Zipper Jeans feature a high rise, a no-waistband waist, shadow pockets and a vintage-inspired fit. At just £113, they're significantly more affordable than Vetement's almost-£1500 front-to-back zipper jeans.
