Right now, everyone’s talking about “ugly” sneakers. They’re on the feet of nearly every fashion influencer and have taken over my Instagram feed. However, despite their ubiquity, they’re nearly always sold out (see the Balenciaga Triple S sneakers, for example) and are about three times more expensive than traditional trainers. While many choose to wear these with smart track pants or long floral dresses, French women have a different take on the trend.
