We might be too old for a new school uniform and stationery, but September is still the perfect time for us to press reset on our wardrobes by rediscovering old favourites, donating ill-fitting items and identifying gaps that need filling. It can be all too tempting to crave newness with the start of a new season, but by taking stock, we can ensure any fresh purchases will work their hardest over the coming months and years.
One of my favourite ways to aid this process is to ensure I have a comprehensive bank of fashion inspiration (aka people who will inspire me to try new colour combos, take risks and see my wardrobe through new eyes). Working at Who What Wear, it's my job to keep up with those individuals who are killing in the style stakes, and this autumn, there are four women who have stood out to me.
Babba Rivera, Marianne Theodorsen, Oumaya Boumeshouli and Renata Jazdzyk all have one thing in common: They really own their personal style. I've seen plenty of fashion influencer feeds, and trust me—it's harder than it sounds. From Marianne's print-clashing powers and Oumaya's elevated minimalism to Babba's tonal pairings and Renata's trend-led getups, scroll down to see how these four influencers are inspiring my style this autumn.
