One of the great things about a brand-new year is that it provides an opportunity for a fresh start. And yes, that includes your sartorial choices. While in one year you might be more inclined to test out all of the trends, in another year you might want to step back to reevaluate your style.

This also applies to fashion editors, who are very often trying out trends they’re seeing in the market. Interested to find out which pieces Who What Wear’s very own editors are ditching and the ones they’re excited to try when 2018 rolls around? Good news: They’re sharing them ahead. While pieces like off-the-shoulder tops and fishnet tights are being pushed to the back of the closet, they’re welcoming new trends like tops with asymmetrical cutouts and the lavender pieces that took the S/S 18 runways by storm.

Go on to see which items they’ll be giving up in the New Year and the trends they can’t wait to try.
