Kate Middleton Just Wore the £180 Trainers That Sold Out in One Day

The Duchess of Cambridge took over from the queen as the patron of the Lawn Tennis Association last year, and today she picked up a tennis racket to play with some young tennis stars. For her morning on the courts, Kate wore the Nike trainers that created a buzz with sneakerheads earlier this year—a pair of the grey VaporMax sneakers, which have a distinctive bubble sole. When Nike released these £180 trainers back in March, they sold out in just one day, but they are now back in stock. These are a fashion-forward move for the duchess, who usually wears simple white Superga pumps.

She wore her new trainers with a pair of £110 black leggings with a white stripe down each leg by the emerging British luxe sportswear label, Monreal London. She first wore these leggings to a tennis event last year, and today she paired them with a white classic polo-neck and a black cardigan. There has been a spike in luxury sports labels recently, and Monreal was created in 2013 by Stefanï Grosse who wanted to modernise classic tennis whites. As if Kate wasn't enough of a boost for the brand, Victoria Beckham is also a fan of Monreal. Keep scrolling to see and shop Kate's gym outfit.
