25 Cold-Weather Dresses That Come In Under £100

From high necks and midi lengths to knit and satin fabrics, the results of 2022's most affordable cold weather dresses are in, and I can confirm we're experiencing a stellar year. With temperatures slowly dropping, its clear that autumn is very much here and winter is just around the corner. This sent us scrambling in our wardrobes trying to dig out our favourite cold-weather frocks. Think long sleeves, mid to maxi styles, and plenty of cosy knit versions to keep you warm this season.

So what are we seeing from this year's offering? Well, I can confirm that the knit dress isn't going anywhere, but this season it comes in a mix of fits from fitted to looser styles. The shirt dress as well remains a solid option for chillier autumn days, that retains a smart feel for office looks and beyond. The pervading trends include classic neutral hues, that I'm pretty pleased about, as well as classic floral dresses for anyone looking for a printed option.

My personal fave? It would have to be H&M merino wool dress which looks far above its £80 price tag. I am also enjoying shirt dresses for a more tailored feel. Styling-wise, a great pair of boots whether ankle boots or chic knee-highs fit the bill for the new season.
