Here's What the WWW Editors Are Wearing to Work This Fall

There’s a sense of sartorial excitement that fall brings. After living in casual tank tops, denim shorts, and flimsy fabrics for the past few months, I, for one, love the pivot in style choices that the crisp autumn air and that back-to-school (or work) feeling brings—especially when it comes to dressing for the job. If you're going back to the office soon, or want looks to put together if you're going in a few days a week, we've got you covered with plenty of outfit inspiration.

Bring on the chic pussy-bow blouses, luxe leather boots, polished belted blazers, and ultra-soft sweaters. Yes, it’s still warm and pleasant out right now, but as we enter into fall, I’m already planning all the chic new-season outfits I’ll be getting my limbs into once the leaves turn brown. If you’re looking for some fall work outfit inspiration, then this one’s for you! I asked my fellow editors to share the outfits they're wearing to the office right now. From cool leather separates to chic staple blazers, scroll below to take a peek into our editors' transitional wardrobes.

"Knit separates make for my favorite fall outfit to wear to the office. They look luxe but are actually so comfy. What more could you want in a work outfit? Once the weather cools, I'll be swapping the mules out for a pair of ankle boots."

"This outfit is about as classic as it gets, but little details make it feel current. The red mules with a vintage shape add a pop of color, and I left my straight-leg black jeans long instead of hemming them to show some ankle. Mark my words: Longer-hemline pants will be everywhere this season."

"Blazer, jeans, mules. Doesn't get easier than that!"

"You might have noticed we've talked a lot about the leather trend for fall. Nanushka makes the softest vegan-leather pieces, including this dress I'll be wearing to work when the weather cools off. I took this pic at a previous Copenhagen Fashion Week, where I styled it with a Philosophy di Lorenzo Serafini fishnet top, Bulgari bag, and By Far shoes."

For a timeless look with a twist, I'm opting for this cool crew-neck with an asymmetric high-low hem. It adds instant polish to a simple pair of slim jeans. I'm finishing the look with black strappy sandals while it's still warm enough to expose my toes.

"I never really thought I was a suit person until I actually acquired some suits. It's just the easiest, most polished outfit you can wear. I'd probably pair this shorts suit, which is the perfect early fall look, with loafers for the office."

"My office uniform this fall includes a leather trench and an oversize (but tailored) blazer with wide-leg jeans and a retro-inspired bag."
