It might not historically have the same heavyweight reputation as Paris, New York, London and Milan, but this year there has been a great deal of buzz surrounding Copenhagen fashion week. Perhaps it's the host of achingly cool Scandi influencers, who between them account for hundreds of thousands of Instagram followers, or maybe it's once-niche, now-crazy-popular brands, such as Ganni and Stine Goya, that have won the hearts of the fashion crowd with their feed-friendly, wearable designs. Whatever the reason, there's no denying that the fashion world is enjoying an ongoing love affair with all things Copenhagen right now. In the process of obsessing over the latest street style outfits from the past few days of shows, we spotted a number of recurring themes—from Ganni's hot new print to the unknown shoe brand everyone's talking about. Scroll down and discover what the Scandi girls are loving this season.
Ganni's Checked Dresses
Ganni can seemingly do no wrong. Whether it's its rainbow-striped jumper or red checked summer dress, the brand has an unfailing ability to deliver pieces that the fashion crowd can't help but fall in love with. This week, Copenhagen's street style stars were all over Ganni's Charron dress in new-season blue check. Expect to see this more over the coming months.
Established in 2015, Núnoo is the little-known Danish accessories brand that has been thrust into the spotlight at Copenhagen fashion week. The label's transparent tote was spotted on everyone from Tine Andrea to Emili Sindlev, and now has the fashion world is paying attention. The key to wearing this look? Make sure the contents of your bag is a chic as the casing.
So easy to wear yet so chic—it's no surprise that Scandi girls were all over the boilersuit this season. Coming in boxy, utilitarian silhouettes, many influencers styled theirs with elegant heels and new-season bags. Sania Dmina Shoes
The moment we saw these slingbacks in the softest shade of green, we had to know where they were from. It turns out they're the creation of Sania Dmina, a shoe brand that is yet to launch. The brand has certainly got our attention. While we wait for its first collection to drop, we've found some similar styles to whet your appetite. Watch this space.
If you buy any new accessory this season, make it white. An easy trend for anyone to get involved with, we're particularly loving pointed white boots at the moment, which will make any piece—from your favourite jeans to a summer maxi dress—look instantly A/W 18–ready.
