The designers in this city are in many ways ahead of the rest and up for doing things differently. Danish designers often use innovative sustainable technologies first, but this conscious mindset doesn't mean their designs are lacking in personality or originality. There were certain items, however, that I kept spotting again and again—from chunky track-sole boots to quilted pastel coats. The weather is even colder and rainier than in England, but that didn't make the outfits any more boring.
