Fun fact about Coachella that often goes overlooked: It's actually more like two festivals in one. There's the main event, the music festival near Indio, Calif., where this year everyone from Drake to FKA Twigs performed. Then there's the massive circuit of parties and events surrounding the festival—like a little side festival, without the concerts.
The Who What Wear team headed from our homebase in Los Angeles to the desert this weekend to get a little taste of both. We had a blast the entire weekend, taking in the celeb sightings (like Kate Bosworth and Katy Perry!), enjoying the tender sounds of everyone from Kaskade to Skrillex, and generally soaking it all in. (And yes, doing a bit of shopping while we were at it.)

On Saturday, the Who What Wear team stopped by Refinery 29's pool party at the festive The Saguaro hotel in Palm Springs.
Of course, no Coachella is complete without donning at least one flower crown!

Saturday night, the whole team made our way to Neon Carnival, the annual black-lit dance party held at an abandoned airport hangar in Thermal, Calif.
And yes, we all rode the iconic ferris wheel.
After Neon Carnival, it was time to head to Moschino's super-exclusive party at creative director Jeremy Scott's private desert estate in Bermuda Dunes. Spotted there: Katy Perry, Rihanna, Fergie, Alexa Chung, Alexander Wang, and FKA Twigs and fiancé Robert Pattinson.
The Moschino bear was ready for his close-up!
On Sunday morning, we hit the Cynthia Vincent brunch, where there were bloggers galore looking desert-chic.
After brunch, we headed to Sandro's poolside event at the gorgeous Sparrow Lounge in Palm Springs.

Glasses.com hosted a lavish and chic #EyesonCoachella pool party on Sunday, and we were more than happy to lounge in the desert sun.
All in all, the weekend was beyond fun and successful! On to weekend two!
