The New Way to Wear Your Slip Dress, According to Cool-Girl Cleo Wade

As a now-staple part of the 2016 fashion lexicon, we're always on the lookout for ways to re-style our slip dresses. By now we've worked out the best brand for affordable bias-cut slips, cooked up a weeklong slip dress-wearing plan for busy girls and discovered that Selena Gomez has three of the same frock in different colours because it's that good—but, we're happy to see resident cool-girl, poet and fashion industry favourite Cleo Wade mixing the idea up a bit.

Attending a Burberry and W Magazine party in New York this week, she paired grunge with glamour, choosing a full-length silk gown as the base for a shrugged-off bomber jacket, buckled bag and thick-soled sneakers. It's the kind of easy-peasy look that works for an unpredictable British summertime, from festivals to dress-down Fridays.
