The colour experts at Pantone announce its Colour of the Year on an annual basis, a few weeks before the New Year begins, and the colour they've proclaimed will dominate 2020 is Classic Blue. Described as a '"timeless and enduring hue, elegant in its simplicity," it's little wonder its already proving to be a firm favourite amongst the fashion set. In fact, before the announcement was even made, blue was largely evident on the spring/summer 2020 runways, where designers debuted their collections for the new season in September 2019.
