This Is the Perfect Nude Lipstick, According to Sienna Miller and Our Editors

Think of Charlotte Tilbury and, chances are, there's probably one cult product that instantly springs to mind—her Pillow Talk Lip Liner. Sure, one might be sold every two minutes somewhere in the world, but it turns out the brand stocks another lip product that has the industry insider seal of approval.

I'm very much a red lipstick kind of girl, but when I am going to reach for a nude lip, there's only one that I'll opt for. And it turns out that I'm not alone. Our Deputy Editor Emma Spedding also swears by this product for a classic nude lip look—and Sienna Miller also adores it. Not bad company to be in, right?

The product in question is Charlotte Tilbury's K.I.S.S.I.N.G lipstick in Bitch Perfect (£24). While Pillow Talk has more of a dusky, pink undertone to its nude, Bitch Perfect is decidedly more beige—in a good way. "This peach-toned nude lipstick is perfect for everyday wear or layering with your favourite lipgloss," said Tilbury.

I have to agree. Generally, wearing a nude lipstick either makes me feel like my makeup has transitioned into formal territory, or it washes out my complexion entirely and makes me look ill. Bitch Perfect, however, has an orange undertone that manages to make lips look perky and defined.

Sienna stepped out in the cult lipstick on the Oscars red carpet. A nude lip and smokey eye make this a classic makeup look.

"Okay, I'm going to be honest. At first, I thought the best thing about this lipstick was the name," said Emma Spedding, Who What Wear Deputy Editor. "I first got this lipstick in 2016, and I am now on my fourth tube as I wear it every day and truly believe this is the best lipstick out there. It's not drying at all, and I find the subtle shimmer makes it a great pick-me-up, which means it works for formal events just as much as a Monday morning in the office."

Actress Zoe Saldana wore Charlotte Tilbury Bitch Perfect on the Met Gala red carpet this year. The nude provides a subtle contrast to her glitter-flecked eye and sequined dress.
