17 Pictures From the Chanel Show That Will Blow Your Mind

Karl Lagerfeld never fails to delight and surprise—we know this by now. Every season, the Chanel show brings us an awesome set to marvel at, along with gorgeous garments. The Chanel S/S 18 collection was set against a tropical background, which, dare we say it, reminded us of Jurassic Park (in a good way). There were waterfalls cascading down makeshift rocks adorned with foliage and trees all of which surrounded the wooden catwalk that snaked around the rocks.

But we're not just here for the great spectacle. We're interested in the clothes and accessories too. This season, there was one big obvious waterproof trend: Plastic. It was everywhere. From bags to hats, as well as the two-tone boots and shoes, there was even a pair of gloves that got the polythene treatment. While most of the clothes were classically Chanel, with tweed, pearls and ruffles making an appearance, there were some denim and tie-dye looks that gave a more relaxed summery feel. Don't just take our word for it, keep scrolling to see our pick of the best Chanel looks from the show.
