Katie Holmes Wore the Fall Outfit Trend That Works for Every Age Group

Katie Holmes and the great style reinvention of 2019 carries on. (She's on fire.) Her latest look for a day out and about in NYC was the perfect example of a fall outfit trend that's perfect for so many occasions (from work to a low-key date night) and has been worn by women of every age group. (See the celebrity proof below.) Also, it's the perfect outfit for the weather this time of year, when temperatures are hovering around the 60-degree mark, which is an awkward temperature to dress for, if you ask us.

The outfit trend in question consists of an oversize blazer over a tee or blouse (in Holmes's case, a white T-shirt under a camel-colored blazer), straight-leg or skinny jeans, and heels (in Holmes's case, pumps). And coincidentally, this is the exact outfit every Who What Wear editor wears to work on repeat. It's just a perfect fall outfit, as you'll see below.

Keep scrolling to see how Katie Holmes and celebs of all age groups wear the number one fall outfit trend.
