Cara Delevingne has a hectic schedule of premieres and press junkets this week, as she's promoting her upcoming film Valerian and the City of a Thousand Planets, but it's her daytime styling that is catching our attention. Yesterday, global fashion search engine Lyst told us it noticed a huge spike in '90s-inspired going-out tops, and yesterday, while in New York City, Cara showed how you can wear this look during the day and still look effortless.
Cara wore a pair of black wide-leg trousers, white classic Puma trainers and an oversize, elegant black Max Mara coat, but underneath she wore a checked bodysuit with dramatically slashed cut-outs at the waist and across the chest. The key here is that she kept the rest of the outfit simple and classic so that all the attention was on the statement top.
