Is It Just Me, or Are Bows All Over Instagram?

Mirror, mirror, on the wall, who’s the fairest Instagram trend of all? I can’t get these darn rhymes out of my head (I’m a new mom), but it turns out it’s a great way to introduce fashion’s newest obsession!

Bows in all shapes and sizes have been dominating our Instagram feeds this season, adorning shoes, tops, dresses, and messy ponytails alike. The sweet embellishment made its mark on the S/S 19 runways in many forms—from delicate crystal-bow headbands at Miu Miu to romantic dresses tied at the waist with bows at Marc Jacobs.

Heck, even Kate Middleton is a fan—proving the romantic detail is worth giving a whirl in our own wardrobes. So how do we wear Instagram's favorite accessory? Bows add a charming touch to a simple jeans and tee combo. For a statement look, try a bow embellished jacket or dress guaranteed to garner compliments. Or for a quick and easy look, tie a ribbon around undone hair. Effortlessly chic. Bows are a buzz. And we couldn’t be more Happy.
