Everyone I Know With Great Skin Uses This Multitasking Face Cream

Skincare has been 2020's primary beauty obsession, this we know. In fact, I spoke with several beauty emporiums and stockists, all of which found that skincare dominated their best-selling product lists. While there were undoubtedly variations between them, one cream that kept coming up was Bobbi Brown's Vitamin Enriched Face Base

Although it has been a part of Bobbi Brown's impressive beauty rotation since 2001, it would seem that this year, the cult favourite has reached peak popularity. I first began using it at the tail end of 2019, when I received a sample of it along with other purchases I'd made. It may have been small, but, boy, wasn't it mighty. Firstly, it smells divine, better than any other face cream I've tried (you have grapefruit and geranium essences to thank for that). Still, the term' face creams doesn't entirely cover what Bobbi Brown's Vitamin Enriched Face Base is; which brings me on to my next point.

The Bobbi Brown Vitamin Enriched Face Base is a skincare hybrid; a potent blend of primer plus moisturisation, which makes or for gorgeously smooth makeup application. Rich in feel, but not in the slightest bit greasy, this advanced face formula instantly hydrates, softens, and plumps the skin. Combining the moisturising power of shea butter, the smoothing effects of hyaluronic acid, and the brightening qualities of vitamins B, C, and E, the Bobbi Brown Vitamin Enriched Face Base is an essential skincare multitasker that I can't (and outright refuse) to live without. And I'm not the only one.

Recently, I reached out to some influencer friends of mine to discover the skincare and makeup they use to create their daily beauty looks. There's no prize for guessing what the common denominator was; Bobbi Brown Vitamin Enriched Face Base. Then, I started noticing more and more women I follow were rightly singing its praises, reaffirming that this wonder product's appeal goes way beyond my own experience. Not that I should be surprised; in a body of research carried out by Clearpay, Bobbi Brown's Vitamin Enriched Face Base is officially one of the top-ten most-bought beauty products of 2020, with one tub of the cream selling every minute globally.

'Bobbi Brown Vitamin Enriched Face Base is a hero and iconic product that has been in my kit for years,' reveals senior PRO artist, Warren Dowdall. 'It's the perfect two-in-one product: one that's good for all skin types as there is never a greasy residue left on the skin.'

'Over the years, vitamin C has become a buzzword within the beauty realm, which is another reason why Face Base has become the cult classic product it is,' continues Dowdall. '[Vitamin C] one of the few proven anti-ageing skincare ingredients – it encourages collagen production –, can improve visible signs of sun damage and scarring, and helps defend skin against environmental damage. With a comprehensive vitamin line-up and a buttery-soft formula, Face Base sinks into skin like a dream and works wonders under makeup, too.'

With so much hype surrounding Bobbi Brown Vitamin Enriched Face Base, it's unsurprising that the brand, this August past, unveiled the latest addition to its Vitamin Rich collection; the Bobbi Brown Vitamin Enriched Eye Base (£34). While still relatively new to the skincare scene, the eye cream is already drumming up five-star reviews across the board. Drawing from my personal experience with the Face Base, I'd expect nothing less.
