Levi's Made & Crafted is partnering with America's emerging photographers for a new series called "Photo Assignments." Each month, a new artist will showcase their own individual style using pieces from the brand's F/W 13 collection. Next up is Chloe Aftel. Versed in shooting both still and motion pictures, the Los Angeles-based photographer finds inspiration in portraying the real emotions of her subjects. "I love shooting sensual, intimate and emotional portraits of women. Working with Made & Crafted's fall collection, I was inspired to utilise the textures, prints and patterns in the clothing to create an ethereal effect using double exposures: a close-up of the fabric double-exposed over a portrait establishes a dialogue between model and the world the clothing creates."--Chloe Aftel To see Aftel's entire photo assignment, head over to Levi's Made & Crafted Tumblr now!
