19 Smart But Comfy Trousers That Are Perfect for Spring and Beyond

After months of slouching, the novelty of wearing jogging bottoms has well and truly worn off. I want to feel comfortable, for sure, but now I miss feeling put-together and am slowly revisiting the smarter items in my wardrobe. Last summer, we wrote about a pair of linen jogging bottoms from H&M on Who What Wear, and it's clear from the number of clicks it generated that I'm not the only one wanting to swap my slobbing-around clothes for something a little more polished.

I'm normally a dress person in spring and summer, however, I am finding myself drawn towards relaxed trousers in either lightweight linens or with uplifting summer shades. I've found lots of tempting pairs from brands including ArketCOS and Faithfull the Brand. The one thing all of these trousers I've found have in common is how easy they are to style: Simply add a tank top, silk camisole or white Oxford shirt and you'll have a considered, chic throw-on look in no time.
