Naked Heels Are Staying Put for Winter, and They're a Better Idea Than You Think

I hate to break it to you, but pedicure season is far from over, as barely there strappy heels are set to stay through winter. So if you splashed out on those heels from The Row (or still wish you had), you can rest assured that you don't have to pack them away just yet.

While The Row started the trend with its mid heel slingbacks (which we want in all three colours), it’s the new brands on the block that have made us realise there’s no going back from a foot-exposing heel. By Far, Neous and Tibi all are getting it just right with their shape. They have just the right ratio of shoe to foot (aka a serious amount of skin on show, with minimal straps). The lack of actual shoe might sound ludicrous when making this kind of purchase, but it will make so much more sense when you try them on.

The street style set were all wearing these "naked" strappy heels during fashion month. There is something super chic and effortless about wearing heavy proportions on top, contrasted with a neutral pair of shoes. The styling options are endless, but my favourite way to style these right now is with a trouser suit. In this weather, boots feel too heavy but trainers feel too dressed down, so strappy heels or mules are the best. Just make sure you’ve booked an Uber instead of walking.
