What do you get when you cross a giant marshmallow with a plumber? This season's hottest jumpsuit trend, apparently. It's bold, brave and unapologetically pink. We spotted these pastel all-in-ones on the pavements of Copenhagen Fashion Week back in August 2018, yet their bubblegum-coloured goodness has remained fashion catnip for influencers and celebs alike through to spring 2019.
Whether it's Jeanette Madsen rocking Ganni's sellout style with strappy sandals or Rosie Huntington-Whiteley embracing a short-sleeved jumpsuit by Isabel Marant, the trend has seen wide-ranging success. It may have started with the likes of Ganni, but over the last year, it has spread to the high street, with brands such a Topshop and ASOS embracing the look in a variety of pastel iterations. Fashion editor fave Kitri has also seen sellout success with its flattering waist-tied Mika jumpsuit. There's just so much to choose from.
Best of all? It's the ideal solution to the tricky transitional weather we're experiencing right now, and it'll take you approximately 30 seconds to style in the morning—seriously. All of the below styles are begging to be worn with Veja trainers and a trench coat for spring, and velcro sandals and sunnies in the warmer months.
Style Notes: As someone who usually opts for polished separates, we were pleasantly surprised when Rosie stepped out in this Isabel Marant jumpsuit, which she styled with knee-high boots.
Style Notes: I tried on Ganni's sellout style in a lighter pink version and instantly fell in love with its boxy fit and nonchalant finish.
Style Notes: Jenna Lyons makes a good case for wearing a pink jumpsuit in a more formal context. The camel coat makes for the perfect colour pairing.
