I Spent Hours Perusing the Secret Sections of Nordstrom—These Finds Are Fabulous
For those in the know, the dropdown menus of the Nordstrom website are a treasure trove of great shopping finds. It's been a minute since I've had time to really dive deep, so today, I'm settling in with a coffee and my laptop (not just my phone—this is serious) to go down the rabbit hole and discover the best of what these hidden gems have to offer.
My main takeaways: I'm very tempted by the coziness of either a faux-fur or faux-shearling-lined coat and now convinced that a statement scarf is a fall essential—also, Nordstrom is quietly making a slew of great knitwear under its own label (including some extremely reasonably priced cashmere). From a dozen incredible knits to on-trend tights and rain-proof boots, here's the best of what I found tucked away that I'd hate for you to miss.
Show me a better bag that's under $100.
A crew-neck cashmere sweater so good Nordstrom makes it in 17 colorways.
Lean into the après-ski energy of Khaite's buzzy new-season sweaters.
This oversize houndstooth manages to be neutral and punchy at the same time.
Had to refresh my screen to confirm this lush faux-fur coat is truly under $200.
Bless the person who started designing gloves that let you use your phone without taking them off.
More brown worth investing in.
Once you own a creamy boot, you'll wonder how you ever did without.
I've been hunting for a giant blanket scarf—did not expect to find a cashmere blend at this price.
Natalie leads the style direction for the all content we create in partnership with our friends at various brands plus the legendary team of editors who work on those shoots and stories. She loves collaborating and storytelling, so it's a really fun role for her. It's also the first full-time job she's ever had! She started out in her career as a very mediocre model who agreed to her first styling job to impress a photographer she had a crush on, which led her down a happy path of contributing to Vogue Australia and working as a stylist, fashion writer, and creative director for all sorts of brands and titles. She has a bachelor of communications, but most of her career opportunities came up thanks to some fleeting and accidental street style moments. She's been at Who What Wear for three and a half years and still loves to work as a freelance consultant with brands and designers to shoot their campaigns in NYC. She's originally from New Zealand, and Bondi Beach is her second home, but like just about every other 20-something, she fell in love with New York at some point. She lives in Williamsburg with her fiancé and their weird little dog, Ruby. If you ever need reccies for feel-good fashion, legit coffee spots, politics podcasts, or non-intimidating yoga studios, she's very much your girl.
