8 Epic Beauty Looks From My Makeup Queen, Margot Robbie
Margot Robbie can really do no wrong when it comes to beauty looks (or fashion, for that matter). With the help of her incredible makeup artist, Pati Dubroff, she always achieves a rare breed of understated glam, even when she's opting for amped-up red carpet makeup. And let's not forget her lovely hair—the actress has sported some incredible styles over the years, from vintage curls to chic updos, and we'll never forget that perfect bob.
After a busy past couple of years promoting various film projects, we've been particularly spoilt for Margot-based goodness, one being Once Upon a Time... In Hollywood. Keeping with the spirit of this retro movie, it's no surprise that it saw her sport vintage-inspired makeup and hair to match—and it's enough to drag even the most ardent no-makeup-makeup person away from their basics. But there's more—lots more…

One of Margot's most iconic looks of late was the one she channelled for the L.A. premiere of Once Upon a Time… in Hollywood, and it might just be one of my favourites. Dubroff called the bronzed skin–and–glossy lid look a "hot '70s vibe," and I couldn't agree more.
For a Once Upon a Time… in Hollywood press day, Dubroff gives tonal makeup a new punchy twist with this perky peach look. With muted orange on her nails, lips, and eyes, Margot unsurprisingly nails the look, and don't even get me started on that hair…
So while the nude makeup is certainly a highlight, the crowning glory of this look are Margot's incredibly voluminous curls, which are giving me major glam vibes.
If you're going to commit to a bold red lip, you may as well go big and pair it with matching red-slipper eyelids. As well as the glitter, the faded out edges of the shadow just make the look, and the vintage curls sure don't hurt either.
Probably another of my favourite look to date, I can't get over those cute-yet-kind-of-wanton mini undone plaits, which I'm guessing required a considerable amount of hair spray at the ends. The eye makeup is also notable, as are those striking arched eyebrows.
If you're new to eye shadow, this subtly illuminating silvery hue is a great shade to start with. Just follow Margot's lead and brighten your eye area right up with a similar coloured creamy shadow, taking it into the inner corner of the eyes to properly make your eyes pop. Pair with a natural pink lip hue and you're good to go.
Margot rocked this look for the BAFTAs. After all, if you can't wear bold blue glitter on the red carpet, when can you? I'm loving how everything else is kept super simple and pared-down in order to let the glittery liner, shadow and blue mascara do all the talking.
I really loved it when Margot had a bob, and every picture I see like this one makes me want to chop my own old style back in. This half-up, half down style complete with subtle surfer-girl waves suits the Aussie actress perfectly. And truthfully, those brows deserve their own Instagram account.
