I'm Calling It—Mango's Coat Edit Is the Best On the High Street This Year

When it comes to high street stores, I'm very specific about where I go for certain items. This may be because, after years of shopping, I finally know exactly what suits me. And more importantly, I know exactly what doesn't. Let me explain. While I find Zara good for dresses, I would never usually buy trousers from there (I'm 5'4" so they're often too long.) Instead, I head to COS for more tailored pieces. And when it comes to Mango, although I'm often caught pursuing the shoe, blouse and accessory section, at this time of year, I always know it's the destination for the best coats. In terms of fit, quality and cost, it's the full package.
This year is no exception, and I'm blown away by the choices on site now. Whether it's a practical puffer, a polished wool style or an everyday trench, Mango is the place to go to get your new coat. Trust me. We've already witnessed one particular shearling style go viral—the toggle jacket stays in stock for all of about two seconds when it comes back online.
So, to make it easy for you, I've rounded up the 28 Mango coats you'll most likely want to add to your autumn wish list. And don't hang around, we all know the best coats go first!

Chocolate brown is having a real moment. I would wear this oversized wool style with a cream roll neck, tan trousers and tonal accessories.
Everyone, and I mean everyone, should own a trench. This is particularly lovely cut.
This one is already oversized, so, just grab your usual size and layer over every autumn outfit.
I would even size up for this one to get those real power shoulders.
This belted style will work with literally any outfit. Wear at the weekends with denim and a knit, to the office over workwear and with your party looks during the festive season.
Brown is key for autumn/winter so I've got my eyes on this faux fur coat.
A wool coat is always a good idea for when the chill sets in.
This one is bringing 80s vibes (a mini trend for autumn/winter 22/23.)
Kate Moss has said leopard print is back, so it's back.
This is the perfect coat for those dreamy sunny-yet-chilly autumn days.
This would look so good worn over a slip dress and chunky boots.
Yes, yes, and yes to any form of leather coat this season.
Camel coats are a favourite amongst the fashion set. This tailored version is just so classic.
