There are some travel destinations that are proving particularly popular with the fashion crowd this year, from Amangiri in Utah to an actual pink palace which is the crown jewel of the Amalfi coast. For many of us, hotels this luxurious are a world away from the reality of our annual holiday budget, however, it does make for ten perfect minutes of daydreaming. Kim Kardashian West and Rosie Huntington-Whiteley both recently visited this magnificent hotel in Utah. Located in Moab, it blends in with the desert landscape, features a sand palette throughout and has one of the most Instagrammable pools in the world.

Cuixmala in La Huerta, Mexico

Ever since Lucy Williams posted her first Instagram picture from Cuixmala resort in Mexico, we have not been able to stop thinking about it. Williams has stayed in so many beautiful hotels around the world, but she says on her blog that this place is different: "I think this was probably the most amazing place I've ever been. I'm sure I say that after most trips, but this place really is like nowhere else. It's funny because it's not turquoise-blue seas like the Maldives or jet-white sand like the Caribbean, yet it felt more peaceful and special than any of those spots." It's a maximalist's paradise, as every room is exploding with bright colours and prints.

La Posta Vecchia Hotel in Ladispoli, Italy
