I'm Over High Heels—22 Chic (and Comfy) Low-Heel Sandals I'm Shopping Instead

Before 2020, I didn't actually own slippers. Between work socialising, I just wasn't at home enough to warrant a pair, at least to the point of making them a shopping priority. But over the last 18 months, I've worn little else on my feet other than my Marks and Spencer shearling slip-ons. And it's been glorious. As someone who'd ordinarily never be able to leave the house without a pack of Compeeds in my purse (I blame my combination of narrow heels and wide soles for making my feet blister-prone), walking without the shooting pain of these sores has been liberating.

This year, we're all hopeful that our lives will return to some sense of normalcy, and this will require us to put something other than slippers on our feet. Having said that, I downright refuse to teeter around in high heels like I used to. I've been too accustomed to comfort. That said, I do kind of miss heels, believe it or not, so to bridge the gap between the two, I've come up with a solution.

With a depleted tolerance for uncomfortable shoes, I'm turning my attention to low-heel sandals this summer. I'm talking two inches on average. And seeing as I've been on the hunt for the chicest pairs for myself, I thought I'd share my findings with you, too. Keep scrolling to shop the best low-heel sandals this season has to offer.
