If I had to pick just one ultimate party shoe, it would have to be a pair of gold heels. Not only are they one of the most versatile colours (they go with just about anything), but they’re also totally trans-seasonal as well, meaning you can re-wear them at any time of the year. I have an old strappy pair of gold Zara stilettos that I wore for New Year’s Eve, in the South of France for a wedding and for a sunset dinner on a beach in Portugal. Oh, and they're sure to be lugged into work for the office Christmas party. I told you, they really are the most versatile kind of shoes.
It’s the slinky, strappy stilettos that really catch my eye when shopping for gold heels, such as the below by Aquazurra, Gucci, Miu Miu and Zara. The colour is enough to bring any outfit to life for the evening (and even the daytime in Summer), so I’d say it’s best to keep the style of the shoe subtle.
Take a look at some of my favourites below, and then get shopping.
These have just the right amount of bling to make your feet feel special.

We’re so into the crinkle fabric of these heels that give them a super expensive feel. And at £40, they’re a total steal.
The mix of metallics makes these chunky heels that much more luxe looking.
Thank you Jimmy Choo for showing us these beautiful gold court heels. It’s there chunkier toe that gives these their fashion edge.
This muted shade of gold is a subtle way to do this trend, and the shape looks great with jeans.
