Sorry, Florals, But This Is the Summer Dress I'm Wearing From Here on Out

For a season that's given us many an excellent dress—Kitri's pink gingham, & Other Stories' floral mini and basically every Faithfull the Brand creation, to name but a few—we thought the frock frenzy had reached its peak. Turns out, we were wrong, for yet another frock iteration started to rise through the sartorial ranks.

Having caught the eye of more influencers than we can keep track of, fruit-print dresses are certainly having a moment. It all started with Ghost's Alice dress, a black maxi dress adorned with tiny little lemons, which everyone in the know has been wearing since April. Now, with the likes of H&M, Loewe and Reformation getting in on the five-a-day action, the fruit-print dress is proving to be one of summer 2019's must-have buys.

Topshop's bias-cut lemon-print dress has already sold out once, while Réalisation's cherry-print wrap dress has been reissued for over three years now. So, if you haven't already, now's the time to cut yourself a slice of the trend. Keep scrolling to see how influencers are wearing theirs and then proceed to shop our edit of the best fruit-print dresses.

Note how Karina masterfully matches the colour of her headband to a hue found in the print of her dress. Gorgeous.
