9 Brow-Blessed Women Reveal the Eyebrow Products They Genuinely Love

They're the feature that helps to define the face but also the most challenging to get right. Of course, I'm talking about eyebrows. Since we still find ourselves donning masks for much of the time, with our eyes and brows serving as our most prominent beauty markers, never before has shaping, sculpting, and filling our eyebrows been such a priority. But as I've already noted, it's all too easy to make a mess of them—just one pluck can be the difference between perfectly symmetrical and mismatched brows.

Then, of course, there are products to consider. With pencils and brushes and pens and gels and pomades all at our disposal, finding the best eyebrow products for you is no small feat, which is why I've called in some reinforcements.

I spoke to some brow-blessed influencers to find out which eyebrow products they genuinely love to use. From transparent formulations that make the brushed-up brow vibe easier to achieve to the most natural-looking colours to fill in any gaps, keep scrolling to see the best eyebrow products worth spending your money on.

High-street beauty brand Nyx Professional Makeup is known for its frugal but high-performing products, with its brow pencil being one of its best sellers. It caught the attention of French style maverick Aïda, who uses it to give her gorgeous natural brows definition and depth.

Jessica has some of the strongest eyebrows on Instagram and is devoted to keeping them as natural looking as possible. Day-to-day, she brushes them up using MAC's clear brow gel. For dramatic after-dark looks, however, she adds Chanel's brow wax and powder palette into the equation. The set even comes with a tiny pair of (Chanel-emblazoned) tweezers for emergency plucking.

Beauty aficionado Emma has tried just about every brow product under the sun. So which one does she keep coming back to? Tom Ford's fan-favourite Brow Sculptor. The product's unique calligraphy tip allows a tailor-made stroke, from thin to wide. You can then remove the cap on the opposite end to uncover the grooming brush. But did you know the cap also doubles as a sharpener when you twist it counterclockwise? Genius.

You can tell Chloe has put significant effort into her brows to achieve that near-perfect arch. Grooming aside, she ensures they look their best by sweeping L'Oréal's Eyebrow Artist Plump & Set over them, allowing her to shape and fill in one go.

ZEENA SHAH

Zeena is another fan of Glossier's Boy Brow pomade. Boasting beeswax and carnauba wax, the formula is designed to hold hairs in place without looking too "done," which goes hand in hand with Zeena's beautiful less-is-more approach to makeup.

Chloe's minimal makeup look has inspired our lockdown beauty routines to no end. She confesses that one of her favourite products is her Milk Makeup Kush Brow Gel, which she uses to shape and add texture to her brows without altering their naturally fair colour.

It would appear shaping gels are the preferred eyebrow product of the influencer elite, with Karina also following suit. She reaches for Hourglass's Arch Brow Shaping Gel on the regular to keep her naturally full brows in check. Oh, and did we mention it's vegan?

CONTRIBUTING EDITOR, MAXINE EGGENBERGER

While I'm here, I thought I might as well throw my opinion into the mix. As an editor, I've tried more than my fair share of eyebrow products, but there's one formula to which I'll always remain faithful: Benefit Cosmetic's Gimme Brow. I've been using this tinted gel for years, and I honestly don't know what my brows would do without it. My eyebrow hairs are thick and unruly, but Gimme Brow acts as a discreet veil to keep them in place without any unsightly crisping. I opt for shade 03 Medium, which matches the natural colour of my eyebrows so perfectly, and I've never felt the need to undertake any tinting. For nights out (what are those again?) when my eye makeup is darker, I'll use this brilliant Trish McEvoy pencil to define my brows. The colour is incredibly natural looking and can be deepened with ease.
