This One Ankle-Boot Trend Is Making Me Feel So Nostalgic

If you showed 14-year-old me a list of my new-season must-haves, I think she'd be delighted. Yes, that's right—noughties fashion is back, elbowing its way back into the fashion industry's collective consciousness with gems like cowl-neck dresses, scarf tops and sheath dresses. However, those who still feel scarred by memories of their noughties fashion choices can rest easy, as designers have done a great job of refreshing these era-defining items.

Cowboy boots are one of the latest styles to be given the 2019 treatment, with heavyweights like Calvin Klein, Dior, Vetements and Miu Miu welcoming cowboy boots with open arms. I'm personally into Ganni's monochrome iterations, which have been spotted on countless Instagram accounts over the past few weeks. I'll be wearing mine with a gingham sundress with cropped flares and a '70s-style shirt. Now that's what you call a hardworking trend.
