The Most Expensive-Looking Swimwear From Topshop, Mango and More

You might think that it's way too early to start thinking about swimwear, but experience tells us that now's an optimum time to shop for holiday packing essentials. In fact, some of our favourite high-street retailers are already stocking excellent swimwear options, and it doesn't look like they're hanging around for much longer (or until you have a panic two days before your July getaway, anyway).

Most of our favourite affordable swimwear pieces come in well under £100. Although we'd never actually turn down a designer one-piece, there's a convincing amount of premium-looking high-street swimwear out there to make one think again.

The truth is that many of us don't want to spend a small fortune on the swimwear. However, the quality and fit of a swimsuit are still important, and we'd hope you wear your chosen swimmers on repeat each and every holiday. Topshop, & Other Stories and Mango offering up some really classic pieces like scoop-back one-pieces or simple bandeau bikinis in a shirred finish. All of these mean you can locate something that feels current yet timeless.

So whether you're jetting off to a far-flung destination or, like us, simply don't want to miss out on the very best swimwear the high street has to offer (just in case), keep scrolling and shop our edit of the most expensive looking styles to snap up now.

SHOP THE EDIT

We love the subtle smocking on this tie-shoulder costume.

Not yet sold on stripes? A belted silhouette makes the lines more flattering.

& Other Stories has your trend-led suit needs covered.

We can always rely on Topshop for super-chic bikinis.

The textured fabric and subtle tortoiseshell detailing make this look far more expensive than it really is.

I always think high-neck silhouettes look so chic.

For simple silhouettes head straight to Arket.

Bored of black? Try this instead.

We're big into lemon yellow right now, and we're applying the trend to our swimwear.

Perfect with the matching top, or why not mix and match with block colours?

Leopard print is ideal if you're looking to make a statement.

A one-shoulder costume will always feel chic.

We're still not over polka dots. Style this with chino shorts and cat-eye sunnies for a fuss-free holiday look.

For sporty silhouettes, COS always comes out on top.

The thicker fabrics feel ultra luxe.

Deep-berry hued swimwear will always feel expensive.

Best worn with tortoiseshell sunnies and fine gold jewellery.

If in doubt, stick to a scoop-back swimsuit in a monochromatic spot print.

We're big into crinkle bikinis, and Nasty Gal has super-cute styles in abundance.

One more impossibly cool bikini to add to the collection from & Other Stories.

We love the tie-side detailing on these briefs.

You just can't beat a classic black swimsuit.

If you're looking for something to cover the arms, try this pretty crop-top bikini from Whistles.
