As things start to open back up again and life resembles what we once knew, there are elements of normalcy that I'll admit I really missed. Celebrity street style ranks high on that list. I won't lie—I missed looking at what my favourite A-listers have been wearing and talking about their inevitable influence on the rest of the fashion world. But now that celebs are out and about again, the looks are, too, which means that the street style has been getting better and better.

It's been so good, in fact, that several recent outfits have stood out to me and the rest of my fellow editors because they're so noteworthy. On the one hand, we have Kendall Jenner showing off a minimalist aesthetic that's unlikely for her, and on the other, we have Hailey Bieber introducing what has the potential to be the next big shoe trend. Curious to see the looks we're naming the best celebrity outfits of 2021 so far? Keep scrolling to peruse these standouts and the shopping options we curated to go with them.

On Kendall Jenner: The Row Big Sisea Shirt, Wesler T-Shirt, Phoebe Pants, '90s Bag, and belt; BY FAR shoes

When Jenner stepped out in NYC in this subdued but expertly tailored ensemble, the internet (and us) kind of lost it—and for good reason. First of all, it's not the kind of look we're used to seeing on Jenner, so it already feels different, but her pleated pants indicate a new basic trend that's starting to catch on.

On Rihanna: Versace sunglasses; Amina Muaddi shoes

Leave it to Rihanna to step out in something that's so her only she could really pull it off. That's right—she styled a denim miniskirt atop boxer shorts in a layering choice that's giving us a lot of Y2K feelings. With a bright Hawaiian shirt and ankle-tie sandals, it's giving carefree summer energy in the best way possible.

On Hailey Bieber: The Frankie Shop blazer; Bottega Veneta The Pouch; Femme Luce Minimale

Another day, another absolutely fire Bieber outfit that deserves your undivided attention. The element here that has us all talking is her sandals with a sharply pointed toe that indicate a bubbling shoe trend we're dubbing "knife heels."

On Emily Ratajkowski: Gauge81 Adeje Dress; JW Pei Gabbi Bag; Jennifer Fisher necklaces

Summer is here. Do you have your simple hot-weather uniform sorted yet? Not to worry—Emily Ratajkowski's latest look consisting of a basic minidress and sneakers is the easy throw-on 'fit that's begging to be copied. Note her bright shoulder bag that ensures it's very 2021.

On Irina Shayk: Hugo Boss suit; BY FAR Cush Pebbled Tote Bag; Dr. Martens 1460 Boots; Givenchy sunglasses

We thought we'd seen it all from the bubblegum-pink trend. That is until we saw this Irina Shayk ensemble. The model coordinated a relaxed suit and blouse with BY FAR's popular Cush bag, and while it's certainly a lot of saturation, it somehow just works (like, really works)—just in case you had any doubt in your mind about the It colour of the moment.

On Sophie Turner: Orseund Iris tank; Kseniaschnaider Wader jeans; Paloma Wool sandals; BY FAR bag; Missoma earrings

While there's nothing inherently noteworthy about a tank and jeans, Sophie Turner's take is definitely worth talking about. Coordinated lime-green accessories are pure perfection, but it's her unexpected choice in denim that we simply can't get out of our heads (not that we want to).

Up next, these are the autumn/winter 2021 trends you need to know.
