2018 Has Really Been the Year of the Boob Shirt

They say breast is best, and it certainly seems to be the case with this season's unusual top trend: the boob shirt. Okay, "boob shirt" might not be the technical term, but this particular part of the female anatomy seems to be the recurring theme in this trend (always rendered in an arty, hand-drawn style, of course). Under-the-radar brand Paloma Wool was one of the first to champion the look with its Leandra shirt, a piece that was embraced by fashion royalty including Camille Charrière and Laura Jackson.

Since then, the success of the trend has spread to the high street, with stores like Never Fully Dressed creating a more literal interpretation of trend in the form of their tongue-in-cheek Boob T, a piece that was papped on Kendall Jenner. Furthermore, £5 of every Boob T sold is donated to mental health charity Mind, so it's a win-win situation. To help you stay abreast (sorry, had to do it) of the trend, we've rounded up the best boob shirts available to buy now. Scroll down to shop our edit.

Style Notes: Fashion blogger Elif knots her Paloma Wool shirt and pairs it with white jeans and statement earrings. So simple and chic.

Style Notes: Camille Charrière styles her shirt to perfection with high-waisted jeans and a patent coat. Take note for autumn.

Style Notes: Now this is what a boob shirt was designed for: fake flashing paparazzi at fashion week, of course.

Style Notes: As always, Laura Jackson gives us serious style envy with her chic outfit. We love her '70s-inspired button-fly jeans.
