Buckle Up—Biker Boots Are Suddenly Back Like It's 2010

Is it 2013 or 2023? I don’t care either way. The only important thing is that biker boots are back in style and I'm itching to get my hands on the It item that completed every grunge-inspired look I've loved since the early '10s.

No other boot style comes close to the biker's ability to inject nonchalance-cool into an outfit. Though the style went away for a while, we're thrilled that it's back and looking chicer than ever when paired with a juxtaposing fit-and-flare dress, or right at home with black bottoms and an oversized knit.

Throughout the 2010s, our favourite fashion icons including Sienna Miller and Kate Moss were avid fans of the chunky style, which sadly, until recently, had been collecting dust at the back of our wardrobes. That was, until Miu Miu got involved. When the brand debuted its fabulous stompers during their A/W 21 runway show, we knew we were looking at something that would catch on. Two years later and the fashion set has warmed up yet again to classic biker boots.

Bringing the style bang into 2023, fashion people are styling their biker boots with fresh layers in light, natural materials, rather than going all in on grunge à la the early '10s, or with skinny jeans tucked in like Moss or Miller.

From Miu Miu's iconic pair to H&M's convincingly premium iteration, shop our favourite biker boots below.
