This Influencer-Approved Handbag Trend Is All Over Instagram

Every now and then a trend creeps up on you. It's the kind of thing where one day you notice it, and then all of a sudden it's everywhere. This is what happened to me with animal-print bags. Sure, I've been pining after Rejina Pyo's Nane Zebra bag for a while, and have had Wandler's Georgia bag on my wish list for some time, but I didn't fully realise the extent of the trend's prevalence until this month. Though once I saw it, I couldn't unsee it. Almost overnight it seemed like zebra-print top handles and tiger-pattern crossbody bags had become the ultimate must-have.

The beauty of animal-print bags (and the reason I believe they're so popular) is that they can add interest to almost any outfit. Take the images below for example. Several of the stylish women pictured are wearing sleek minimalist outfits, which focus on one or two simple colours but have been elevated through the use of a statement animal-print accessory. It's very simple really.
