Fashion's Gone Bananas: Literally, This Fruit Will Rule 2018 Style

Bananas are going to be everywhere in 2018, and not just in your new smoothie regimen. The fruit is set to be one of the biggest trends this New Year, and we've spotted plenty of pieces we're already obsessing over. It all started when we saw banana earrings on the S/S 18 Prada catwalk and then banana bag trinkets at Fendi. But that's not where the trend stopped: Both Ganni and Être Cécile have T-shirts bearing the yellow fruit, which we're desperate to get our hands on. The former even has a highly covetable swimsuit that we guarantee will sell out shortly. Want to know how to wear this trend or where to start shopping it now?

Keep scrolling to see why we're going bananas (sorry, not sorry).

Style Notes: If you're worried that the addition of fruit into your wardrobe will make you look a little juvenile, this is the way to go. A nod to the trend with a pair of earrings, such as these at Prada, is super chic.

Style Notes: Lucy Williams proves that this banana tee is just another must-have top to add to our Ganni T-shirt collection.

Style Notes: A chic, simple handbag from Fendi is brilliantly complemented with the addition of the banana bag charm.
