6 Fashion Influencers Share Their Winter Wardrobe Staples

There’s a lot of shopping available at our fingertips, and honestly, even I sometimes struggle to really find those perfect wardrobe staples. (And I essentially shop for a living.) The thing is that there’s a lot of good stuff out there, and with many of us in the fashion industry keen to make sustainability a priority by shopping smarter (aka more expensive but lasts longer), there’s a desire to ensure we get it just right.

You don’t want to spend your money on something that you don’t love and that won’t last. While I could give you a list of everything I’m after, I instead decided to turn to some of my favourite Instagrammers and asked them for their picks of colder weather staples that will keep going—not just in terms of trends but also in terms of durability.

I asked six different influencers to tell me which basics they’re after this season. From Alexis Foreman to Lorna Humphrey of Symphony of Silk to Alex Steadman from The Frugality, there are plenty of wardrobe classics I know you’re going to love. My highlights have included a pair of straight-leg blue jeans, a blazer from & Other Stories that was chosen by two different Instagrammers and a pair of square-toe leather boots I already have in my shopping basket. Keep scrolling to see what they’ve picked. Also, you should know that all these pieces will last you for years to come.
