I'm Not a Heel Person, But These ASOS Party Shoes Are Pretty Much Perfect

I was worried that they'd look too schoolgirlish, but when styled with sheer tights and a minidress, they honestly looked so chic. Best of all, I can confirm that they are super comfy despite the added height of the platform. I found they rubbed a tiny bit on the front edge of the shoes, but nothing that a few wears can't soften up.
Size-wise, unless you have super-narrow feet, I would definitely go one size up. I'm usually a UK 6, but after reading the reviews, I went for a 7, and they're pretty much an ideal fit. I can't wait to slip them on with my 16Arlington rental dress for my birthday dinner. Oh, and did I mention that they're only £30? You're welcome.
