Alexa Chung is one for giving us a few surprises, but not everyone will be expecting this new revelation from the fashion icon. In a recent interview, she revealed who she thinks is actually stylish, and it's none other than Mary Berry from The Great British Bake Off.
Those of us (ahem, this editor) who have been big fans of GBBO for several series are more than aware of Berry's fashionista status. The celebrity baker has often been spotted in a floral bomber jacket from Zara or a casual hot-pink blazer, which always sets Twitter talking.
However, Chung just confirmed Berry's chicness credentials with a story about how when Chung took part in the GBBO celebrity bake-off special, Berry immediately spotted that Chung's boots were by Penelope Chilvers. 10/10, for you Berry.
Speaking to The Telegraph, Chung also gave away details about her latest collection for Marks & Spencer, which will mark the second range the star has launched with the iconic British high-street store.
"For this collection, I was thinking: what happens after dark? I wanted to make a tuxedo, I wanted 1970s disco, Studio 54. Fabric-wise, I thought it could be a bit more shiny. Synthetic, but in a good way."
We for one can't wait to see this new collection, which is set to launch in a week, but in the meantime, we suggest you keep scrolling to shop a few pieces from Chung's AG jeans collaboration.
