Homeware fever is sweeping the high street right now, with everyone from H&M to Zara getting in on the interiors action. You'd be forgiven for thinking that affordable fashion and home accessories wouldn't be a winning combination (after all, how can you beat IKEA for purse-friendly buys?) but the reality is so much chicer than you could imagine.
Scrolling through the homeware sections of H&M, Arket and Zara, I lost count of the number of items that I added to my mental shopping list. This is great news for those of us who don't have thousands of pounds to make our living rooms look picture-perfect. After all, homeware is generally known to be notoriously pricey.
So what's on our interiors wish list this season? We can't not mention rattan, the home trend sweeping Instagram fashion feeds. H&M has the best iterations right now, including a lounge chair and side table. We're also eyeing Arket's ceramic offering: Think chic vases and arty water pitches. Zara, meanwhile, is nailing it on the furniture front, with tables, lamps and mirrors coming in paired-back Scandi finishes.
My highlight has to be Zara's rattan bookcase (no one need know it's kids), which would look amazing as a magazine stand. Scroll down to see and shop my complete edit.
