Major: Target Is Launching a Line Exclusively for Plus-Size Women

Meghan Blalock

When Target announced its latest collaboration with Lilly Pulitzer last week, the mega-retailer took some heat because the collection's plus-size offerings were going to appear online only and not in stores. Well, the critics can now relax, as the store has announced its first-ever plus-size-only line.

The line, Ava & Viv, will hit Target stores and online in mid-February, and range in price from $10 to $80. Like most of Target's other internal lines, the collection will be constantly evolving, with new pieces arriving on a monthly basis. To celebrate the announcement, Target teamed up with major plus-size fashion bloggers Gabi Fresh, Nicolette Mason, and Chastity Garner, who visited the brand's Minneapolis headquarters to try on the clothes and pick out their favourite pieces.
