Is This the Next French It Girl?

We're in love, guys. Allow us to introduce you to the girl making our heart skip a beat, Louise Follain: model, stylist, native Parisian, owner of the most spectacular fringe and the woman we're avidly stalking on social media. Vogue.com has called her a "Jane Birkin clone," and Harper's Bazaar echoed the sentiment. High praise indeed, but we urge you to see the 21-year-old in her own, brilliant right.

Beauty experts have long been obsessed with this fresh face thanks to her aforementioned hair (as well as those insouciant doe eyes, angular cheekbones and cherubic pout), but her gallic fashion nous is not to be ignored. Her muses range from Kate Moss to Alexa Chung, so there's a certain British quirkiness that punctuates her typically French style vibe. Where many would steer clear of pink corduroy pants, Louise opts in. Chanel is, of course, part of her repertoire, but you won't find the most obvious bag in her closet. She can wear jeans and a tee like a true Parisian icon (hair up, loafers on), but the unusual addition of crystal earrings really sets a new tone.

Keep scrolling to see some of Louise's coolest looks, and don't say we didn't warn you—you're undoubtedly looking at the next French It girl.

Broderie Anglaise crop top and pink cord trousers—not the obvious combination we'd fall into each summer but definitely worth considering.

Louise knows the value of cost per wear: Her tweed Chanel bag and smart loafers are a constant presence no matter which country she's in.

Vintage-style knitwear is always popular among French girls, but this '60s-inspired piece is really something special.
