6 Fresh Ways to Wear Your Old Adidas Superstar Sneakers

Adidas Superstar trainers have long been a firm favourite among the street style set, and it’s really not hard to see why—even if you can’t pinpoint the magic behind them. There’s no one reason this style has stuck around for so long, but it’s got to have something to do with its sheer versatility. It just goes with everything—everything!

Lately, A-listers (think Gigi Hadid, Karlie Kloss and Kendall Jenner) have been wearing theirs on repeat despite the many other sneaker options there are to be tempted by, and some of the smartest dressed fashion editors have traded in their sky-high heels in favour of the classics. It’s enough to make us fall in love with our Superstars all over again.

Still, like any wardrobe staple, it can be difficult to think of new ways to wear them. Lucky, then, that Adidas has so kindly released a few new variations of this hero shoe style, should you not yet own a pair. If you fancy a wardrobe refresh for an existing pair, keep scrolling for expert styling advice to give yours the attention they so deserve...

Style Notes: Think you can't wear eveningwear with Superstars? Think again. We think posh frocks or fancy sequin are an ideal high/low fit and should be worn together at any opportunity. How to avoid looking too done? Just throw on a leather jacket and statement sunglasses for a more laid-back effect.

Style Notes: Maximise the wearability of your after dark frocks by giving them an Adidas dressing down. Accessories and jewels should be kept to a minimum, as anything too fussy will counteract the cool vibe we're going for.
