Prepare Yourself: FIFA Fashion Is Now a Thing Outside of Football Stadiums

You can trace most WTF fashion trends back to Demna Gvasalia, the man behind Balenciaga and Vetements, and thanks to him, you just might be wearing football scarves in 2018. Vetements included football scarves in its autumn 2015 collection with, appropriately, "Football Scarf" written across the chunky red number in Russian. That might have been three years ago, but it looks like this trend is slowly but surely taking off. You can now find FIFA fashion outside the Vetements street style crowd and football stadiums and on our favourite fashion Instagram accounts. Alexa Chung recently created her own "AC" football scarf, and earlier this month, Fearne Cotton added her red-and-white striped footie scarf to our wish list. Keep scrolling to see how they styled their footie scarves, and shop them below.
