Bella to Emily: Instagram Proves These A-List Girls Buy High Street Too

Hannah Almassi

Celebrities shopping on the high street? Yes, it is something that happens. Okay, so you've not bumped into Kim Kardashian at your nearest American Apparel yet, but what we have noticed is that with this elite set's usually designer-crammed wardrobes competing for airtime, it means they make the wisest decisions when it comes to purchasing cut-price cool. There's no point in opting in for any ol' bargain frippery, the A-list way to shop the high street is quite precise.

To bring you the coolest high-street spots of the year so far, we've enlisted the search skills of UK tech startup Dressr. Founder Jessica Vince spends all day, every day trawling Instagram to bring these starry wardrobes to life for you to shop directly and stop endlessly scrolling.

"Slogan T-shirts are Instagram gold—they’re a fun way to make a statement without costing big bucks, and stars, including Rosie Huntington-Whiteley, Kate Moss and Olivia Palermo, have turned to quirky brands like Rotten Roach, Milly and Wildfox for theirs," explains Jessica. "Festival season is also the perfect time to see A-listers in affordable high-street buys—we’ve already seen Emily Ratajkowski in ASOS, Hailey Baldwin in H&M and Millie Mackintosh in River Island at Coachella, and there’s sure to be plenty more to come."

As for who has the most impact from wearing these? "Alexa Chung’s collection for Marks and Spencer was one of our most popular posts—that ruffled pink blouse sold like hotcakes. And Emily Ratajkowski is also really popular at the moment, especially when she wears affordable pieces."
