Sarah Jessica Parker Just Made It Possible to Dress Like Carrie Bradshaw

There are many dresses that come to mind when we think about Carrie Bradshaw. There was the naked dress. There was the one she wore in Paris (with the Russian) that had a million layers. And lest we forget the frock that looked like it was made from newspaper. But if you don't have a photographic memory for all of Carrie's Sex and the City outfits, we reckon there's at least one that you'll always remember, and that's the pink tutu number she wears in the opening credits for the show.

While there are many other Carrie-inspired ensembles that are easy to wear, the tutu dress has been the one look that many have tried to replicate but haven't quite pulled off. The problem is, if you want to wear it outside of Halloween, most will just ask you if you're off to your ballet class. But we have some good news: Sarah Jessica Parker has just created a black version of this dress for her first clothing line for her Sarah Jessica Parker Collection. And this makes it much more wearable.

The star revealed the dress on her brand's Instagram account and we can see it selling out immediately (although it's not right now). Parker has promised that this is one of the first of many LBDs that she's created as part of the collection, so we can't wait to see what else she's got for us. In the meantime, you can shop the dress now and see how to style it, according to SJP.
