This Affordable Minimalist Brand Is a Fashion Industry Secret

Until recently, chic U.S. brand Everlane was one of those things you'd have to take a transatlantic flight to get a hold of. (Not exactly wallet- or environmentally friendly, despite the company's more sustainable outlook.)

However, the relatively affordable clothing line that makes the best not-so-basic basics now ships to the UK. Plus, it offers free shipping for orders over $100 (that's about £77). From its silk tops and tees to its trousers and shoes, everything the brand makes is an automatic hit, so it's no surprise it has a loyal following of fans.

The most high-profile of late is the Duchess of Sussex, Meghan Markle, who wore Everlane's £138 tan tote for her first-ever public appearance with her now-husband, Prince Harry. It subsequently sold out, although happily, it is now back in stock. But it's not just Meghan who's a fan of the brand. Celebrities like Angelina Jolie, Sienna Miller, and Karlie Kloss have all been spotted wearing coats, T-shirts and trousers by the brand.

As if celebrity endorsements weren't enough, some of our favourite minimalistic women on Instagram also regularly wear the brand. Alexis Foreman and Brittany Bathgate have posted about Everlane's jeans, for example.
